Painter. Sculptor. Illustrator. Claymator. Screen Printer.

Lizi Pratt is an Adelaide born artist who works as a painter, sculptor and clay animator, focusing on the bizarre and unusual, finding beauty in all things considered taboo or strange. She is intrigued by the human form and in particular, the curves and shapes of the female body, whether it be big women, muscular women, deformed or classically beautiful females. Her vibrant and powerful visuals are inspired by tribal patterns and animal markings. She is passionate when it comes to social and political issues , and isn’t afraid to show it through her art.

After initially winning an Artist Youth Award in 2008 at St. Aloysius College for a short animation entitled "Attack of the Living Colour" about the relationship between humans and the colour that surrounds and influences them in everyday life, Lizi’s art career kicked off. She has curated and participated in group and solo exhibitions over the past few years – these include 'Life' (Tooth and Nail Studios 2015), 'This is a Very Loud Scream' (Juxtapose Studios 2014), ‘Strange One (solo exhibition at the Crown and Anchor), Adelaide 2009).  'Juxtapose SALA Party' (Juxtapose Studios 2008), 'Youthscapes' (Norwood School of Art 2008), 'Munt' (Karmasucra, Adelaide 2008). (Along with a collaborator, Alice Dolling, she has launched a clothing brand "CashPratt$" (www.muntcrew.wix.com/munt) that produces one of a kind items of clothing both hand painted and screen printed, wearable artworks.
